Our Mission
Welcome to Laugh Kindly Comedy, where laughter brings hope and healing. As a survivor of domestic abuse and a dedicated volunteer at the Women’s and Children’s Shelter, Kai believes in the power of joy to uplift spirits and unite communities in support of a greater cause. Our mission is to use comedy to raise awareness and funds for survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring they receive the care, support, and resources they need to rebuild their lives.
By supporting this show, you’re not just enjoying a night of laughter—you are standing with survivors, advocating for safety, and contributing to a future free from abuse. Together, we can make a difference, one laugh at a time.
Kai is an active volunteer at LA’s Women’s and Children’s Shelter for the Victims of Domestic Abuse, LA House of Ruth, where she teaches martial arts and meditation.
Many of the women at the shelter are immigrants as herself, therefore she knows first hand what it is like to be a minority in America, for that reason, Laugh Kindly is also a platform to help minority comics to get recognized and discovered.
